Alan Winch, Winchy, or the Wizard as he is most affectionately known is the old timer in the team. Our resident wine guru with a world class wine cellar, Alan is a good bloke to know in China. The wizard comes from the outback town of Cobar, Australia where as he puts it “the men are men and the sheep are nervous”. Known to disappear when the hard training starts, Winchy will turn up when the amber ale is flowing. Good for a story or three, Alan enjoys nothing more then to let everyone know what the team needs to win. Often heard saying motivational comments such as “Azza and Deano we lost because of you”  or “ that guy is crap”.  Alan’s favorite number is 23 and that’s not the number he wears on his back!  The wise man in the team, Alan brings with him a great depth of knowledge of not much except how to have a great time whilst in Asia. Our team would be weak without him! PS: Watch out for the wizard in Shanghai, he’s the grey haired guy with the Pierce Brosnan looks chatting up your wife!
